One more week!

I leave for Whistler a week Monday! I have been getting constant updates from the Olympic volunteer training team, and a series of manuals on what it means to be a Host at the Olympics. I have to read through the manuals more thoroughly but from what I can tell it is going to be a busy 2 weeks and I am going to meet many new faces!

I am so excited and have pretty much stopped worrying about school. This experience is too big and too amazing to get bogged down by stress. So I have been trying to spend as much time with friends and work as possible before heading out. With only one week left I better start packing!!

On Olympic News:
Apparently the weather has been really warm out west so they are trucking snow out to the Whistler Olympic Park this week...

The Olympics are coming up so soon I'm freaking out! I got back to campus on Saturday and it has been hectic as per usual - there is no easy way to balance yoga, going out, running, work, and classes and I unfortunately had to miss Boom Shakti last night due to the presentation I had to do this morning. I just have to keep telling myself that it's all possible, and some how I'll make this thing fly.

Unfortunately for my marks I am way more excited about this upcoming experience, meeting my new roomies in Whistler, and hosting one of the largest international events. It's going to be incredible to be apart of the energy there! I'll do my best to capture it.

In West coast news, apparently there offering free yoga classes to residents and visitors!

25 days until I fly out to Vancouver! I am really excited and partially stressed over the 3 assignments I have to get done before Whistler life and the Olympics begin. I guess time management wasn't really a priority over the break until yesterday when I looked at one syllabus for a full year course and had a minor heart tremor. I have 25 days to get these assignments done, work my last shifts at the tearoom, pack, and say goodbyes.

On Olympic news the new banners for the Games have been released - they look great!

38 days until the olympics and I'll be heading out to Whistler in 28 to volunteer for this year's games. Seeing as we all can't experience this first hand I thought I would share mine with you! So follow me along pre, during and post VANOC.
